Isabella Maynard from Ballard School decided to raise money for Lymington NHS Heroes by cycling 100km over 10 days with a target of £100.
She loves riding her bike and set up her own Just Giving page for Lymington Hospital Friends’ Campaign site.
“It is my pleasure to support the Lymington NHS heroes because they are doing so much to keep us all safe and well.
I am going to enjoy biking because it is a lot of fun. I go to Ballard School. I’m happy to support the Lymington NHS heroes.
The idea just popped into my head and I thought It is a good idea to help others when they need help”.
100km in 10 days
After a quick practice, Isabella set off on her rides and posted a daily update of her routes around New Milton and Barton-on-Sea and the distance cycled. Despite injuring her ankle, Isabella was determined to finish her challenge.
Isabella raised over £800!
With the generous support of her friends and family, Isabella raised £692 .. adding Gift Aid took the Grand Total to £804.25!
