Improved facilities for urgent care
We have recently agreed to purchase five monitors to help the Urgent Treatment Centre deal with increasing patient numbers, some of whom have serious heart conditions.
Four new mobile blood pressure monitors enable the doctors and nurse practitioners to have immediate access to fast efficient monitoring in each treatment bay.
The mobile Resus Monitor provides continuous display and alerts of vital signs, including ECG, Heart Rate, Blood Pressure and Oxygen levels – vital for cardiac emergencies.
This equipment cost over £15,000 and we have received a generous grant of £10,000 from the Charles Burnett Memorial Fund
